Company History

Independent Lifestyles was founded in June 2002 and opened for business on July 1, 2002. Since then we have continued to expand and grow as the mobility industry vastly changes. After opening, we recognized the need in the community for a broader approach to the market, so we started a rental service. We offer handicap accessible vans along with scooters, power wheelchairs, ramps, elevators and many other accessible devices and equipment. We rent most of our items and sell all of them! But that’s not all we do…

We maintain a current and full-range inventory listing on our website www.ilifestyles.net for your convenience as well as links for customers to locate resources. We understand how difficult it can be to purchase such large items, but we will work with you to find appropriate funding. Our clients sometimes need up to 10 years to pay for equipment and we can help arrange that with one of our great financing partners. We look forward to providing customers with the opportunity to be independent and handle daily living needs with ease.

Last, but not least the entire staff at the dozens of corporations that we use throughout the nation, help us serve you as well! We rely on their expertise and knowledge of the innovative products in the mobility business. We call them routinely on your behalf to solve issues with vans, scooters, power chairs, stair lifts, and other equipment. They work hand in hand with us to help keep you on the go.
