Company History
Independent Lifestyles was founded in June 2002 and officially opened its doors on July 1st of that year. Since then, we’ve proudly grown and evolved alongside the ever-changing mobility industry, continually expanding our services to better meet the needs of our community.
Recognizing a demand for more flexible options shortly after opening, we launched a comprehensive rental service to complement our sales offerings. Today, we provide handicap-accessible vans, scooters, power wheelchairs, ramps, elevators, and a wide range of accessibility equipment—available for both sale and rent.
But we don’t stop there.
We operate a full-service repair and maintenance shop that services wheelchair-accessible vans, lifts, scooters, and power wheelchairs. Our certified technicians are trained to keep your equipment safe, functional, and reliable. In addition to in-shop repairs, we also offer on-site service calls for the installation and maintenance of stairlifts, ramps, and other home accessibility solutions—bringing comfort and independence directly to your door.
At Independent Lifestyles, we understand that acquiring mobility equipment can be a significant investment. That’s why we offer financing options, including long-term plans of up to 10 years, through our trusted financing partners. Our team is here to support you every step of the way, helping you find the funding and solutions that best fit your needs.
To make the process even easier, we maintain a full, up-to-date inventory on our website: www.ilifestyles.net. You’ll also find helpful resources and links to guide you through your journey to greater independence.
We’re also proud to work closely with a nationwide network of mobility specialists and corporate partners, whose expertise helps us deliver top-tier service and the latest innovations in accessible living. Whether you're dealing with a van issue, a stair lift installation, or a scooter repair, we coordinate with our partners to resolve it quickly—keeping you mobile and confident.
At Independent Lifestyles, we’re more than just a provider—we're your partner in independence. Let us help you or your loved one regain freedom, dignity, and the ability to live life on your own terms.
